Starters at Gilgamesh |

Me and the drink I never had time to finish:) |
We started the weekend of with a visit to Gilgamesh in Camden where we had a set menu. I have really started to appreciate ordering set menus cause I try food which I would regularly never have ordered in my self. Gilgamesh is what I would call London's Buddakhan, which was a awesome asian restaurant in NYC and one I really enjoyed. I would say I like the decor and overall atmosphere better at Gilgamesh though they did serve the food a bit fast would have liked to be able to have time to enjoy my drink in between courses:) After Gilgamesh we ran between pubs, the rain as pouring down.
Before heading back to the hotel we ended up at a pub called The worlds end, probably a tourist pub, you would think it's small from the outside but it really opens up and is huge, an alright selection of beers.
Saturday we spent shopping. For lunch we headed to borough market. A bit crowded but I love all the food you can find there, ate a raclette, consisting of potatoes covered in cheese.

Damien Hirst installation at Tramshed |
The evening we spent in the hoxton area, had dinner at Tramshed, basically chicken and steak was lovely though. The truly amazing part of the dinner was the salted caramel fondue type of desert in which you dipped donuts and marshmallows, SO GOOD! The tramshed has an installtion of Damien Hirst, a cow in formaldehyde.

Desert at Tramshed, YUM! |
After Tramshed we went to a cocktail bar, Ninetyeight Bar and Lounge. The decor was different, but in a cool way, can't really find the right words to describe it.
