Copenhagen

Escaped to copenhagen for a day this week. Needed some grown up time away from our kid. We only live approximatly a 4 hour drive from copenhagen so it is easy access.

Ate some great food as usual and had great beers. Mostly stuck to kødbyen which is Copenhagen's meatpacking district.

Warpigs food was american style and so good. They brewer their own beer which was also very tasty. We ate lunch here.

For dinner we went i Fiskebaren in kødbyen, ate an amazing cod and after a dessert tasting plate.

We hadn't done any sightseeing for a while in copenhagen so this trip we walked around Christiania which I had never visited before. Expect to smell pot, but a cool area.
Christiania is an area in the part of town called Christianshavn there was a Church here where you could Walk up the tower. Such cool views, but not a thing to to for the faint hearted, like My husband, I had to finish up on my own. You could see Sweden from the tower.

The next day we visited Torvehallerne for lunch, a must for us every time we are in copenhagen. Had pizza from Gorms which was awesome.

Travelling again!

Hi you who happen to stumble on to my blog, I've been travelling less this past year due to Having a kid but now it's time again. First trip is one of My favorite places NYC:) So me and My friend Emma is staying at an awesome hotel, the ludlow hotel in LES. We have already been to a couple incredible restaurants in our first day.

Lunch yesterday was at rubirosa, we had one of their brunch pizzas which was a pizza With salmon, With that we had a very glass of rose wine but i've forgotten what kind already:)

Later in the afternoon we went to have our hairs blown out at Drybar, not very common in Sweden as over here, but a nice experience having your hair done by somebody else.

After the blowout we went on for dinner at acme, a real treat. We did their fish tacos, flatbread with goat cheese and trout. All courses very good.
